The team from the Institute of Geosciences at MLU took 2nd place at the SCIDEA STAGE 2025, with Dr Detlef Thürkow presenting the joint idea of stone detection by Philipp Alb and Dr Mike Teucher on 18 November 2025.
Stones on cultivated farmland are a problem for farmers, especially for their machinery. The idea: a drone service that uses multi-sensor images to recognise and classify stones on farmland and make them available as a digital map or geoservice for agricultural machinery.
