As our working group is now a member of Space2Agriculture, Johannes Löw attended the annual conference in Bonn on our behalf. Apart from various presentations by network partners and workshops, there were ample opportunities to talk to potential cooperation partners from companies, research institutions and politics.
En route to Bonn, he also stopped in Würzburg to collaborate with partners at the EORC and green spin GmbH on new and existing ideas and concepts related to knowledge and technology transfer. At the EORC, the possibility of transferring algorithms for phenological pattern recognition in sugar beet cultivation to Central Asian ecosystems was discussed, among other things. With Green Spin, there was a productive exchange regarding further transfer studies on radar-based crop monitoring.
