From 16 to 18 June, the Geoecology Working Group, comprising Lena Büschel, Lasse Pein, Jan Lukas Wenzel, Jonathan Renkel and Johannes Löw, was represented at the DLG Field Days in Bernburg.
At the joint DiP stand, the DiP-SMART Agroforestry, DiP-FaiReSyst and DiP-ZAZIkI projects were on display, presenting their work to a wide audience of experts from the fields of agriculture, consultancy and science. In addition to exhibits, there was even a small planted agroforestry system and a field margin on site for visitors to see.
The DLG Field Days are among the largest open-air exhibitions for crop production and agricultural machinery in Germany and thus provided an ideal opportunity to engage our research directly with agricultural practice.
