Climate monitoring concept: a balancing act (Klimamesskonzept Urban Heat Lab Halle (Saale)) 2025 - 2027

The aim is to further develop climate monitoring concepts and to carry out continuous data collection in order to derive recommendations for action and measures for heat prevention within the ‘Planwerk Urbane Innenstadt Halle (Saale)’ project. The implementation of the monitoring network leads to the analysis and provision of the data via ‘FAIR’ data portals. In addition, the concepts, methods and results will be integrated into the curricula for Digital Geography (Geoinformatics) and Geoecology. Furthermore, in-depth analyses will be carried out as part of academic theses (Bachelor’s and Master’s).
