Johann Braun is a human geographer. He currently teaches at the University of Heidelberg and researches right-wing urban politics in the past and present as well as right-wing political ecologies. He is also interested in the (visual) communication of geographical knowledge and the history of geographical knowledge production.

Focus Areas:

Political and urban geographies of the radical right; political ecology and subjectivation in transformation conflicts; critical urban, spatial and social theories; histories of geographical knowledge production and epistemologies; knowledge transfer, science communication and multimedia design
