ESA’s BIOMASS mission also suitable for DiP-ZAZIkI?

Post: News : ESA’s BIOMASS mission also suitable for DiP-ZAZIkI?

How can the various ESA radar data (including BIOMASS) help to improve sugar beet crop monitoring? To investigate this question for the project of DiP-ZAZIkI , Johannes Löw travelled to Ljubljanaand and participated in ESA’s Advanced Training Course for Polarimetry. In addition to exercises and lectures on the basics of radar remote sensing in the field of polarimetry and interferometry, there were also numerous opportunities to exchange ideas and network with colleagues from all over the world. As a highlight, the participants were given their first insights into the data from the BIOMASS mission.

We would like to thank the hosts from the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, University of Ljubljana and the ESA team for EO Science for Society for organising such a great event
