The Institute of Geosciences and Geography has various laboratories and equipment for carrying out subject-specific analyses in research and teaching.

Many of our research results, material samples and exhibits are on display in our buildings and can be viewed all year round without prior appointment. Interested parties are regularly given an insight into the laboratories and exemplary demonstrations on the equipment during the Long Night of Science on the first Friday in July each year.
