One of the permanent tasks of management at the Institute of Geosciences and Geography is to provide and maintain an efficient working environment, including offices, IT/technology, laboratories and vehicles. The management of the Institute administers all processes within the organisational structures of the University and represents the employees at the higher working levels (Dean’s Office, Rectorate).
The Institute Management team supports all departments in financial management, in the organisation and implementation of the courses offered in the degree programmes and in building management, including laboratories and technology. Resolutions are prepared for the deliberations of the Executive Board to decide on the use of the personnel and material resources allocated to the institute. Furthermore, the interests of the employees are taken into account and represented in the interests of a positive working atmosphere.
