I am a sedimentologist studying fluvial and shallow marine environments in Earth’s earliest history. My research explores how these systems functioned in a world without large landmasses and before the evolution of macroscopic life, how tides influenced ancient coastlines, and how rivers and coastal settings supported the spread of Earth’s earliest life form
