This research examines practices of critical mapping, understood as processes of collective knowledge production. Following on from debates on decoloniality and critical pedagogy – in particular bell hooks engaged pedagogy – the aim of the project is to develop mapping methods and means of design in multi-sited action research that correspond to the claim of a decolonial-critical collective cartography – engaged cartography.
