Applied Geology contributed to the Erdwärme-Forum Bayern 2026, held at the Max Bögl Innovation Centre in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, with a presentation on the RECOIN project. Elisa Heim presented how intelligent real-time control of borehole heat exchanger fields can unlock significant efficiency potential.
The annual Erdwärme-Forum brings together stakeholders from industry, planning, public administration, politics and science. This year’s programme focused on current developments in medium-depth and shallow geothermal energy, legal and political framework conditions, municipal cold district heating solutions, as well as questions of economic viability and market development.
