At the EGU22 conference in Vienna, members of the working group presented some of the current research work.
This year’s General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) took place in Vienna from 23 to 27 May 2022. Peter, Lisa, Andreas and Christoph presented contributions on the research fields and activities of the working group with a focus on rising groundwater temperatures in the urban subsurface, our test site in Halle, hydraulic tomography and seasonal heat storage. Peter also took over the deputy chairmanship of the session “ERE5.4 – Underground Thermal Energy Storage, applications and associated processes in porous and fractured aquifers” It was an exciting and interesting conference week and a successful hybrid event for scientific exchange!
