Laboratory: Computer pool for geodata and other applications

The Laboratory for Digital Geography offers modern infrastructure for the analysis, processing and visualisation of spatial data. It is used in research and teaching, particularly in the fields of GIS, remote sensing, 3D visualisation and drone-based data collection.

This laboratory serves as a central infrastructure for
– Geodata processing
– Remote sensing and GIS applications
– 3D visualisation and geomodelling
– Drone-based data collection (UAV)
– Geo-programming and web mapping
The laboratory is used in research and teaching, particularly in the fields of digital cartography, geoinformatics, urban and environmental analyses and citizen science.
