This year, DiP-SMART Agroforst and DiP-FaiReSyst, two projects from the Geoecology working group, were represented at the Silbersalz Festival in Halle (Saale).
Under the motto “It sparks!”, our colleagues Mona Pawelke, Lena Büschel, Jonathan Renkel and Jan Lukas Wenzel were able to present the research topics on structural change in the Central German mining area to a broad public and thus raise awareness of the importance of trees and field margins for climate-resilient landscapes.
We received active support from our colleagues at the DiP coordination centre and from Prof. Reuter.
We would like to thank the organising teams of Silbersalz 2025 and science2public e.V. for the opportunity and are already looking forward to the next Silbersalz in 2026.
