Marcelinus Dery is a committed climate change activist and an advocate of environmental management and sustainability. He is currently a researcher at WASCAL and a PhD candidate in Climate Change and Education at the University of The Gambia. Before embarking on his PhD studies, he worked as a journalist and taught communication studies as a full-time lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) in Geography, French and Archaeology from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Master of Philosophy in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Education, Winneba.
