My research focuses on the ecological investigation of urban aquifers. I combine microbiology, fauna, chemistry and temperature development in order to analyse the influences of urbanisation and climate change.

Focus Areas:

Groundwater ecology, urban aquifers, hydrogeology, microbiology of groundwater, effects of urbanisation and climate change
