He was a PhD student at the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) and studied “Climate Change and Human Habitat” at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria. He holds a Master’s degree in Geography with specialisation in Climate Change and Human Security from the University of Lomé, Togo. His PhD was about “Climate Change and Land Use Impacts on Migration and Food Security in North Central Region of Nigeria”. He was using climate data, surveys, GIS and remote sensing. His research interests include agriculture, climate change, food security, migration, land use change, human security, land degradation, sociology, rural development, and applications of GIS and remote sensing.
