Frank Pietzsch is Managing Director of PiSolution GmbH. He has over 25 years of experience in software and technology development. His areas of expertise include the development of innovative technology concepts, consulting, and design in the field of process optimization. He is and has been involved in many national and international research projects (e.g., on multidimensional data, big data handling, guided research, and search databases).

The GISCAME software was developed in collaboration with PiSolution. GISCAME supports the simulation, visualization, and evaluation of land-use changes. The goal is to evaluate land use based on the regionally available knowledge base (statistical data, model results/expert opinions, and empirical knowledge), thus providing planners with a tool for weighing alternative courses of action.
