On Friday, 23 January 2026, four representatives of the Geoecology working group – Julia Pöhlitz, Mona Pawelke, Lena Büschel and Jan Lukas Wenzel – were guests at the “Research for the Future” stand at this year’s “Green Week” on “Agriculture Day”. This joint initiative of all universities in Saxony-Anhalt serves to present current research work to a broad public. We presented current work from the DiP-FaiReSyst and DiP-SMART Agroforst projects. On “Agriculture Day”, the exhibition stand was also visited by the State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt, Mr Gert Zender, with whom a lively exchange took place on the climate-resilient design of Saxony-Anhalt’s landscape. We would like to thank the “Green Week 2026” for the opportunity to present our work and especially the team from “Research for the Future” at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences for the great organisation and the DiP coordination office for their support.
