I am a clastic sedimentologist focusing on fluvial to shallow marine deposits in modern and ancient case studies. I also link the investigation of the hydro-sedimentary dynamics of these environments to socio-economic aspects such as plastic pollution, reservoirs and carbon cycle.

Focus Areas:

Sedimentology of river-sea transition areas, coastal and shallow water sedimentation, tidal dynamics and associated sediment products, field research in modern and ancient systems, drone and LiDAR-based digita modelling, dynamics of plastics in the environment
