Temperature treatments up to 1200-1750 °C are possible in various muffle furnaces, some with multi-segment adjustable temperature regimes. The "L3/C" furnace is available under a chemical fume hood for calcination tests and gassing samples. With the "Supertherm LTH 04/17" furnace, rapid heating from RT to Tmax can be realised in approx. 40 minutes.
