- Programmable fast motorised Turbospeed X-Y-Z stage for sample positioning via mouse
- sample positioning via mouse, graphical interface and optionally via joystick
- joystick (max. stage speed up to 100 mm/s)
- Two video microscopes for visualisation of approx. 1 cm2 and approx. 1 mm2 sample size
- Mosaic function allows sample viewing both at a glance and for final positioning
- Fish eye camera for observing the sample area
- Excitation with an air-cooled Be-side window X-ray tube, microfocus with Rh anode for capillary optics and fine focus with W anode for collimator optics
- Small excitation area with poly-capillary optics, spot sizes < 20 μm for Mo-K or spot sizes 0.5 – 2 mm for pinhole collimators
- HV generator with max. 50 kV, max. power 30 W for microfocus tubes and 40 W for fine focus tubes
