Mineralogy & Geochemistry Laboratories Synthesis methods Phoenix Airwave microwave oven – rapid incineration

Synthesis methods: Phoenix Airwave microwave oven - rapid incineration

The Phoenix Airwave microwave oven is designed for rapid quality control and process control. The furnace can be precisely adjusted to ashing temperatures of up to 1200°C in just a few minutes. The areas of application are: Environmental samples, plastics, rubber, polymers, recycling, pharmaceuticals, raw materials, industrial chemicals, food and paper. An integrated exhaust air system removes fumes quickly and safely. The incineration process is up to 97% faster than with conventional muffle furnaces. A programmable temperature control allows flexible adjustment for specific setpoint temperatures or multiple temperature levels. The CEM special crucibles made of quartz fibre material cool down within a few seconds for fast reweighing. It is also possible to connect an external scale as well as a PC or printer.

  • Manufacturer: CEM GmbH
  • Fulfils requirements of: DIN, ISO, § 64 LFGB, DAB, USP & ASTM
  • Power: 220/240 V
  • Output: Maximum temperature 1200°C
